VC-25B
Aircraft Build Integrated Product Team
(IPT), to support the
Build Strategy & Integration
organization in
San Antonio, TX.
The Build Strategy and Integration leader will lead Build Integration teams defining the optimized build sequence that incorporates design changes and process improvements into the VC-25B build plan.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction to ensure optimized build plan working across Design Engineering, Liaison Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations and Quality to ensure optimal build plan
Utilize Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) as well as lead critical affordability, strategic alignment, on-time delivery, process improvement initiatives, lean, root cause corrective actions and recovery planning when necessary
Manages employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in Program Management
Manages, develops, and motivates employees and first-level managers
Coordinate impact analysis (cost and schedule) and incorporation of engineering Production Revision Records (PRRs) into airplane build plans
Lead build integration teams to optimize airplane build through structures completion, wiring and system installation, functional testing, and interiors installation
Support program master assumption creation and maintenance as well maturation of key performance indicators associated with airplane build
Develop and mature lean improvements to improve operational efficiency of aircraft build
Includes integration across IPTs, engineering, supply chain, operations, finance and, BDS
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher
3+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
5+ years of experience managing risks, cost performance and schedule performance
5+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
5+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
5+ years of experience with risk identification and mitigation plans
5+ years of experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers) in planning and executing projects
