Alexa velez

I am currently a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio hoping to earn a B.B.A. in Finance. I am a first generation, hispanic college student interested in a financial analyst position either in the U.S. or abroad. 

While at UTSA I have been a part of the Business Honors Program, the Honors College, the UTSA Pom Squad for three years, the Vice President of Finance for Beta Alpha Psi (Finance & Accounting Honor Society), and a UTSA PINK team member. I am also a Who's Who Award recipient.

I am a finance intern at Frost Bank. I am more of a cross function intern within the investments department. I have completed numerous projects using both creativity and critical thinking for Frost Brokerage Services. I have also worked as an accounting clerk. I prepare, review, and verify general ledger assets, liabilities, capital, income, and expense account journal entries. I also reconcile accounts appropriately while accurately inputting data entry. 

I will be graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio in May of 2023. I will be starting my MBA program in the fall of 2023.
