The Opportunity:


As a Release Coordinator at Postman, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of software releases.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, quality, and platform engineering, to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of software updates to our users.

The release management team centrally supports the Postman App release process. Releasing the Postman App requires careful and heavy coordination between releasing teams and the product squads.


What You'll Do:


  • You will be involved in the planning and execution of releases by interfacing with all stakeholder functions of a release, such as the engineering managers, program managers, and product managers
  • You will own the release management lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating and managing releases across the organization by measuring progress and mitigating risks affecting the release in scope, quality and schedule.
  • Own, maintain and report on release content and artifacts via release plans and release retrospectives.
  • Conduct and report release readiness reviews along with reviewing golive blockers.
  • Manage critical information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, delivery units and notification lists.
  • You'll also work closely with the engineering teams to continuously improve the release process by providing collaboration, information management tools, and close integration with CI/CD systems.

About You:


  • 3+ years of DevOps and/or Release experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and effectively convey complex technical information.
  • Detailoriented mindset focusing on accuracy and quality in release coordination and documentation.
  • Familiarity with software release processes, version control, and agile methodologies Prior experience in a release or project coordination role is advantageous.
  • Flexible hours to work with the rest of the team and leadership based in India
