    Job Description

    CENTURY GROUP is collaborating with a client in search of a **Grant Accountant** to join their team. The compensation offered may vary depending on expertise, experience, and location, with an expected starting base salary ranging from $34 to $36 per hour.

    Responsibilities:
    • Generate financial reports and invoices for submission to grantors, ensuring compliance with guidelines and deadlines.
    • Monitor grant budgets, expenses, and forecasts to guarantee proper utilization of funds as per agreements and regulations.
    • Reconcile grant-related accounts, identifying discrepancies and making necessary corrections to maintain precise financial records.
    • Establish and uphold internal controls and procedures for grant accounting to ensure compliance with accounting principles and laws.
    • Prepare grant reports and support internal/external audits.
    Qualifications:
    • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 1 year of grant accounting experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
    • Strong communication skills for clear financial information delivery.
