Location:
Pasadena CA ( Onsite from day 1) | Rate: $68/hr Max

Primary Skills :

Client is looking for a hands-on person since the role requires to work as an individual contributor as part of the sprint team with individual deliverables , ETL + big data Testing , scripting SQL queries , Database concepts , Python , UFT , Tableau , Client ALM/Octane and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

Job Description
The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and automation in capital market domain.
Experience in Client reporting is preferred.

Should be able to own the test plan, estimation, strategy, scenarios, technical test cases design, reconciliation, environment setup, defect triage and status reporting.

Candidate should be a key player on continuous automation improvements on the new/existing functions.

Candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have to adapt the changes to support multiple projects simultaneously.

He/She should be good in scripting SQL queries and should have excellent understanding on ETL and Database concepts.

Should have proficiency in test automation using Python & UFT and all levels of test executions like functional, integration, system, smoke, regression, and user acceptance testing.

In-depth knowledge on the life cycle of SDLC / STLC in Agile and DevOps Environment using test management tools like ALM/Octane, JIRA, Services Now, etc.

Candidate should be a team player and able to communicate the quality issue with development team and client with clarity and work towards fixing the same in best interest of both parties.

Should have experience in integrating test framework with CI/CD tools like Jenkins for DevOps pipeline
Functional testing and writing business scenarios for testing
Should have hands-on with GIT software configuration management tool
Ability to understand the requirements and aid teams to prepare reverse traceability matrix
Should have hands-on experience with ALM/Octane, JIRA and Confluence
Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, security, quality and teams performance
Must have experience in working with globally distributed Agile teams, define processes
Good understanding on the testing life cycle and also hands on preparing test data , test scenarios and writing bug reports
Should have excellent communication skills and should interact independently with customer
Soft skills - Analytical & Time Management skills, good appetite for learning, flexible, agile, nuances of communication (both verbal and written)
