Navigating this environment necessitates effective communication across roles and backgrounds, a high degree of trust between team members, and the willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job.
You will be responsible for supporting multiple projects as needs arise.In addition, this role will be responsible for performing scoping work including physics analysis on new projects, as well as developing initial experiments to test concepts.
This role will also submit and manage grants to support current and future projects.Perform scoping studies on critical technologies to support fusion deployment, and submit grants to support future work on these concepts
A graduate degree in plasma physics or equivalent experience
A high degree of independence and drive to tackle challenging new projects
Proficient at data analysis and presentation
Experience writing and submitting grants to DOE and other funding agencies
Capable of handling operational tasks required for grant management
