    Description

    Job Title: Senior Firmware Engineer

    Job Location: Bergen County, NJ

    A leading global brand of kitchen appliances is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join their growing team. This team is working to design the next generation of advanced hardware, software, and next level culinary content to guarantee incredible results.

    As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will participate in schematic design reviews, software architecture decisions, and apply best practices to developing automated test codes. Additionally, you will work closely with the Hardware Development Team and manufacturers to take products from concept to delivery.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute the design and development of product firmware utilizing microcontrollers and RTOS.
    • Drive the creation of PCB artwork, design, and schematics, overseeing fabrication, assembly, and testing procedures.
    • Collaborate closely with UI/UX, Mechanical, and Industrial Design teams to ensure smooth integration.
    • Establish and manage interfaces with vendors, factories, and external stakeholders for effective collaboration.
    • Lead communication with vendors and factories, ensuring effective collaboration.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • 4 years of experience in electronic product development involving analog/digital circuit designs and microcontroller-based systems
    • Ability to troubleshoot hardware using tools such as scope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, JTAG, etc.
