Seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and supporting financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities- Senior Accountant:

General Ledger Maintenance
Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and timely into the general ledger system.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Prepare and send invoices to customers, monitor accounts receivable aging, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Support the financial reporting process by compiling and analyzing financial data.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to management as needed
Maintain fixed asset records and reconcile to the general ledger.
Calculate and record depreciation expenses accurately.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.

Experience Preferred: Senior Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
