To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking a department head (m/f/d) for outpatient integration support and intercultural supported parenthood at our location in Socorro, TX.

Our non-profit, intercultural organization LebensWelt has been active in child and youth welfare for 24 years and is located in the heart of Berlin.

Our services include social pedagogical family support, social group work, school social work, integration courses, integration support for people with disabilities, supervised visitation, intensive social pedagogical individual support, childcare facilities, residential communities for young adults, and a youth recreation center.

Under the SGB IX and SGB VIII, LebensWelt offers outpatient integration support for children/adolescents with physical, mental, or emotional impairments, as well as for children/adolescents at risk of impairment.

We also offer outpatient intercultural supported parenthood for parents or single mothers and fathers with impairments.

Your responsibilities:

Management, organization, and further development of the department in cooperation with other department heads
Coordination and leadership of the professional team at the location
Responsible management and organization of the location
Acquisition and coordination of case inquiries from the district, professional supervision
Negotiations with district offices/youth welfare offices
Close cooperation with management, executive board, senate administration, youth welfare offices, and cooperation partners
Comprehensive representation of the organization's interests in the district, public relations, participation in committees
