    Description

    Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Project Manager

    Large Banking Client

    Location: Charlotte, NC | 550 S Tryon | Hybrid 3x/week

    Duration: 12+ months - potential to extend and/or convert FTE

    Must Haves:

    • Minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager or Program Manager
    • Large Banking/Financial Services Industry Experience
    • Commercial Lending or Real Estate Experience (preferred)

    Qualifications:

    6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Banking/Lending, consulting, program/project management, strategic planning, or implementation

    4 + years of demonstrated experience leading the definition and delivery of large-scale complex and strategic initiatives from inception to implementation, within a "Big 5" consultancy or lending financial institution

    Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution

    Experience managing moderately complex projects in a large enterprise environment with high risk and complexity

    Knowledge and understanding of banking or finance; in commercial/corporate lending and underwriting

    Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

    Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

    Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data

    Other Desired Qualifications:

    Demonstrated Experience in implementing nCino and/or Salesforce solutions

    Subject matter expertise in the lending & credit lifecycle – including but not limited to pitch, underwriting, credit approval, booking and funding, servicing, and portfolio management

    Subject matter expertise in CIB Banking and/or CRE – including but not limited to credit origination, underwriting, serving and portfolio management of both balance sheet & third-party loans

    Ability to lead cross functional area initiatives and delivery teams in a matrix management environment, including multiple technology and business teams

    Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously, effectively resolving issues and conflicts as they arise

    Demonstrated understanding and use of change management, process improvement, product development and project delivery methodologies, including Agile

    Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project participants

    Job Description:

    Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives. Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations. Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business. Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership. Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience. Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures. Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Management consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.

    Job Responsibilities:


    • Leverage management consulting discipline to assess scope and impact of a cross-functional/cross-product program with complex workstreams


    • Make recommendations of workstream breakdown structure across competing priorities


    • Advocate a program management discipline and serve as a voice for sponsor education and credible challenge


    • Assess and filter key risks, issues, and material status changes to provide execution excellence and judgement in escalation savvy


    • Serve to support project management needs across existing track verticals in Banking and CRE


    • Design governance structures to initiate Steering Committee routines and provide support for documentation, artifacts to support action items and key decisions


    • Assess disparate project objectives and distill into common taxonomy and strategic thought leadership
