- Assists the Athletic Director in the supervision of the athletic coaches
- Determining student athlete eligibility
- Assists in coordination of transportation for all athletic contests
- Security at any scheduled event Middle or High School
- Coordination of Athletic Trainer
- Emergency personnel and apparatus
- Communicates with families as needed
- Assists the Athletic Director in supervising the High School and Middle School athletic programs in coordination with the Principal, Superintendent and others, including recommending policies and procedures relating to the athletic programs.
- Arrives at the site of the event 1-1 1⁄2 hour before scheduled contest
- Ensures the event set-up is ready and correct (i.e. scorers table, clocks, nets and or rims)
- Meets game officials, media and visiting upon their arrival
- Manages crowd control before during and after events
- Helps ensure departure of visiting team, students and spectators at least 20 minutes after contest
- Must be available during any season, Middle School or High School as applicable (i.e. cannot simultaneously hold a coaching or any other position that would interfere with availability for all necessary duties)
- Assists the Athletic Director in the coordination of transportation for all athletic contests.
- Assists the Athletic Director in coordination of support personnel for all athletic contests, including game management, ticket sales, security, athletic trainer and emergency personnel and apparatus.
- Assists the Athletic Director in the supervision of the athletic coaches. Implements and monitors usage of the Athletic Code of conduct.
- Assists the Athletic Director in the supervision of all contests. Represents the district, as needed, at Conference, District and state meetings for administering the interscholastic athletic program.
- Assists the Athletic Director in ensuring that all applicable laws and regulations relating to athletics are applied and followed, including Title IX and other federal laws and regulations, state laws and regulations.
- Maintains professional relationship with media sources for the purpose of providing information regarding schedules, postponements or cancellations, sporting event statistics, records, and other relevant information.
