We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (m/f/d) to support and strengthen our team at AGAPLESION am Diakonissenhaus nursing home in La Paloma Ranchettes, TX as soon as possible.

We are looking for:


  • Completed vocational training as a statecertified occupational therapist
  • Several years of leadership experience is preferred
  • Sense of responsibility and social skills
  • Sociability, organizational talent, empathy, creativity and flexibility
  • A positive attitude towards working with elderly people in need of care with limited everyday skills
  • The ability to provide dignified support and guidance to individuals or groups with dementia
  • Calmness in dealing with behavioral peculiarities caused by dementia and mental illnesses
  • Willingness for professional and personal development
  • Identification with the goals and diaconal principles of the company

Your responsibilities include:


  • Personnel management of the care team
  • Planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities and events for residents
  • Staff deployment and training planning
  • Coordination of collaboration with other departments
  • Implementation of the care concept and documentation
  • Development and implementation of therapy concepts
  • Counseling for residents and their families
