The Diocesan Office in Stuttgart is strengthening its team on July 1, 2023 with a permanent position for a lawyer specializing in social law (f/m/d) as a consultant in the Social Policy Competence Center, based in Hymera, IN.

Position: 80-100% workload.

What will you do with us?

You will bring your legal expertise to the design of the content and strategic orientation of integration assistance, youth welfare, and livelihood support for our clients, with a focus on the social legal positioning of the Diocesan Caritas Association.
You will work closely with the association members and Caritas regions, as well as the association's committees, and support them by providing advice on social law issues, particularly in the SGB VIII, SGB IX, and SGB XII.
You will represent the interests of the association in the contract commission for SGB IX and its affiliated committees.
You will monitor legal and political developments at the state and federal level and, together with knowledgeable colleagues, develop information offerings and implementation measures for social work practice.
You will be responsible for contract management of model contracts, including identifying necessary changes based on case law and legislation.
You will contribute your expertise in workshops, conferences, and exchange rounds with our members and Caritas regions.
You will work in strategic, political representation and networking structures, as well as with a dedicated, interdisciplinary team.
