We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller (CPA) to join our finance team and contribute to our continued success.
As Controller, you will play a crucial role in the month-end close process, annual audit, tax filings, and perform a diverse range of accounting tasks.
We are seeking an experience and detail-oriented professional who excels in a fast-paced environment.In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide valuable insights, and help shape the finance operations of our growing organization.
In this role you will:
Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and budgets and actual expendituresWork with the CFO to establish Forecasting and Planning (FP&A)
Work with the CFO to support strategic initiatives including the development of KPI analytics and business partner support to marketing, sales, product and customer success teamsDevelop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with US GAAPConduct GAAP compliance analysis to measure existing procedures and policies against best practices as well as applicable local, state, and federal regulationsAchieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actionsAssist with maintaining compliance with national and local tax regulationsConduct research to get business and economic information that impacts the companys performance, extrapolate financial outcomes using financial models, scenario analysis, and what-if analysis Utilize historical data from previous periods to identify finance trends and patternsSupport the development of the weekly cash flow forecasting processLiaise with external tax advisors to ensure preparation of tax filesWork closely with external auditorsContinuously review and drive automation and streamlining of internal processesDevelop, build and lead the Accounting team as it growsWhat you need:
Either a qualified CPA or experienced Controller in a SaaS start-upProactive with experience building and improving controls and processesExperience in a rapid growth PE backed start-up or scale-up environmentExcellent knowledge of Generally Accepting Accounting Principles (GAAP)
