Description

MKEC is looking for an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team at our Overland Park, KS location. This position will primarily work in Industrial Process Control and/or Water and Wastewater.

Requirements:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.5+ years of directly related experience.
Experience in Industrial Process Control and/or Water and Wastewater is preferred.
Design of detailed electrical control systems including plan drawings, network drawings, installation details, control panel drawings, I/O lists, etc.

Develop, test, and startup of PLC programs and HMI applicationDemonstrated knowledge/familiarity with:

Allen Bradley, RSLogix500 & 5000, FactoryTalk View SE & ME, Wonderware System Platform, Proficy Machine Edition, Unity, Concept, VijeoWorking knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).Meet the physical requirements to work in and around construction sites.

Travel up to 30% of the time.
Experienced in Microsoft Office.
Highly organized, self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects at once.
Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as time management skills.
Able to work in a collaborative environment.

Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines, exhibit good business judgement and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
