Description

AS Software provides physicians and sonographers with the leading ultrasound reporting and image management cloud solution. Our application is a critical component to delivering care to patients in obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine. We're hiring an Information Systems Security Specialist to ensure our organization and product exceeds our customers' security expectations.

What You Could Do

Use a Trust Management Platform to ensure policies and controls are followed in the day-to-day operations at AS Software
Collect evidence of a supplier review for a 3rd party library added to our product
Develop and implement a coordinated vulnerability reporting policy
Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure that infrastructure automation includes configuration to implement encryption, backup, and retention policies
Schedule and participate in an annual penetration test and disaster recovery exercise
Review internal phishing test result with the AS Software leadership team and present recommendations for improving next quarter's results

Currently living in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area
Willing to work a hybrid schedule with three days in-office

The ideal candidate has...

A bachelor's degree in information security, or completion of an information security certification program
3+ years working in the information security field
3+ years working with one or more compliance systems such as SOC II, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, HITRUST, FDA 510k, and NIST 800-53
