Description

Duties:


  • You will serve as entry level Organizational Property Administrator (OPA) supporting financial and audit functions within the branch.
  • You will become familiar with the general equipment lifecycle management process.
  • You will be trained in completing all necessary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and applicable system transactions while reviewing and adhering to business rules and practices.
  • You will learn and assist with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) audits for the branch.
  • You will learn as assist with Government Furnished Property (GFP) and General Equipment On-Loan inventory requirements.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:


FOR NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent):Your resume must also demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-01 (GS-4 equivalent), or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting analytical studies or evaluative methods by gathering data or information related to equipment or supplies for reports for implementing and sustaining continuous process improvement initiatives. General experience shows the ability to 1) analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) plan and organize work and 3) communicate effectively orally and in writing.

  • Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education:


  • Education may be substituted if one or more of the following are met:
  • successfully completed a four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
OR- combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
