    GENERAL EXPECTATIONS

    The LPN is responsible for implementing and monitoring an array of health care and other personal support services designed to enrich the lives of people with developmental disabilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Current Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Practical Nurse.

    2. Graduate of accredited school of nursing

    3. Maintain current BLS Certification in Massachusetts

    4. Physical capabilities required to perform direct service duties designated in "Note B" under "Essential Duties"

    5. Possession of a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and an agreement to use one's personal vehicle for business purpos

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    1. Administer medications and implement nursing treatment plans.

    2. Confer with physicians, dentists, and therapists as appropriate.

    3. Communicate with/provide necessary information on relevant health issues to parents, guardians, and other applicable staff

    4. Respond to participant complaints of illness and recommend appropriate action

    5. Confer with pharmacists regarding medications and their acquisitions as appropriate

    6. Monitor seizure disorder records

    7. Monitor and assess general health status of participants, including hygiene issues and skin integrity

    Full-time, Part-time, Relief, and Float positions available. Sign on Bonus up to $2k additional.

    Benefits offered to staff working 30 hours or more.

    Locations in Taunton, Dighton, Plymouth, Wareham, Marion, and Rehoboth.
