- Continuously monitors market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Evaluates and manages supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to qualify and assesses new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, reliability, and ethical standards.
- Works closely with inventory and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Implements inventory control measures to minimize overstock and stockouts, ensuring a balance between supply and demand.
- Stays informed about relevant laws and regulations related to procurement, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Assesses and mitigates potential risks in the supply chain, implementing proactive measures to safeguard the organizations interests.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function and implements best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Streamlines procurement processes, utilizing technology and automation where applicable.
- Collaborates with finance teams to develop and manage the procurement budget.
- Monitors and reports on spending against budget, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Fosters effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and quality control teams.
- Provides regular updates on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost saving initiatives.

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for optimizing our procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This career requires a Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related field, Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, and prior experience in a Purchasing Manager role
