    Description
    Insight Global is searching for an Engineering Manager to join a large retail client headquartered in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate should possess a hands-on background within software development.

    This resource will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers responsible for building and maintaining customer facing platforms for this retail client which allows them to differentiate themselves within the industry.

    You will be responsible for partnering with the Product and Design teams, helping to bring light to engineering challenges such as scalability and robustness while continually supporting the growth of your engineers.

    The ideal candidate would possess strong leadership skills, who are able to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of developing teams and delivering results.

    This resource will be responsible for the development and execution of system strategies to support business goals.

    Additionally, you should expect to develop and leverage internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals.

    Finally, you will be responsible for the growth of the team, including individuals career growth, skillset development, and hiring the right resource.

    This resource will be sitting on-site in Irving, TX Monday-Wednesday with the opportunity to work remote Thursday & Friday.

    Retail or e-Commerce Experience


    • Experience supporting a Marketplace environment.
    • Front-end experience with React Native
    * years of hands-on experience within software development. (Java, Spring boot)


    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field of study
    * 4+ years of experience leading a team of engineers, managing and mentoring team members.


    • Experience supporting customer facing e-Commerce applications & post transaction data.
    • Experience with cloud platforms: Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
    • Experience with large scale web traffic and data structures, Algorithms, Linear Algebra.
    • Experience with building search systems such as Elastic, SORL, Lucene, Algolia, and large-scale data pipelines
    • Hands on experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
    • Hands on experience interfacing with offshore teams
    • Strong written & verbal communication skills
