    Title: Regional Sales Engineer (North East USA)

    Company: Floyd Holdings group is the premier worldwide supplier of machinery to the biomass industry as well as many others. Our reputation for superior engineering and the high reliability of our machines has driven tremendous sales growth. We now desire to add world class individuals to focus on sales opportunities within their regions.

    Opportunities: We supply a wide range of products through our two divisions, Biomass Engineering and Equipment and VibraPro. Our VibraPro division provides vibratory conveyors, feeders and screens to a wide range of industries. Biomass Engineering and Equipment supplies material storage, reclaiming, feeding and other handling machinery to the woody biomass industry, sawmill, panel plants, energy plant, ethanol, animal food, sewage, recycling, and other industries. Our diversity drives consistent sales through good markets and poor, providing a stable work environment for our employees. We have 2 factories in Indianapolis, as well as one each in Greenville KY and Boise ID.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the development and execution of all sales activities in the region.
    • Establish plans and strategies to achieve the company growth plan.
    • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
    • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans.
    • Maintains records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
    • Maintain database records of accounts, contacts and activities in the region.
    • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
    • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
    • Meets standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
    • Sets highest examples of personal character, commitment, and work habits.
    • Maintains contact with clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

    Job Requirements:

    • At least 3 years of experience in machinery sales.
    • Experience with CRM software and sales processes.
    • A willingness to travel extensively within the region.
    • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

    Preference given to candidates with:

    • A technical degree or proven performance in a technical field.
    • Knowledge and experience in the industries we serve.
    • Integration experience utilizing CAD, preferably SolidWorks or AutoCad.

    Compensation:

    • This is a commission on top of salary-based opportunity, ideal for the self-driven entrepreneurial personality. We pay all expenses and a basic salary. You will decide how much you make by how smart you work. Our commission system pays MORE as you sell more and we do not set upper limits on your earning ability.

    • We provide high quality presentations, brochures, catalogs, sales models, and references that you use to educate your clients about what you have to offer them.
    • We promote our products in trade publications and trade shows.
    • We support you with a dedicated person in the office to assist you and an engineering team who will provide you customer specific sales models and other support.
    • An experienced sales engineer or executive will be assigned as mentor to assist you getting started.
