    Position Overview

    Position Title : Vertical Delivery Leader - Aerospace and Defense

    Reporting to : COO

    Location : Connecticut, USA

    Scope:

    Responsible for execution strategy and success of the Vertical. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and operational/ delivery expertise to ensure exceptional service delivery to customers. The VDL partners with the Global Business Head (GBH) of the vertical to create an effective strategy in order to map and exceed customer expectations with service delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring the industrialization of delivery capabilities, in active partnership with Horizontal Delivery Leads (HDLs), to drive revenue generation and foster organization growth.

    Candidate Profile:

    Demonstrated expertize in Large Project / Program management. Solid knowledge of Domain. Handling global teams in multiple Geos/ Transnational Leadership. Exposure to sales and customer relationship management at senior levels.

    Inspires confidence and becomes trusted partner/advisor to key customer contacts. Working closely with Senior Sales leaders. Strong communication and people skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive delivery strategy aimed at industrializing the vertical, growing the business and aligning it with the overall organization objectives. Identify key growth opportunities and ensure that delivery plans are in line with customer expectations and market trends. Ensure every VBU is positioned with the right SDP to lead the business/ account to success. Institutionalize Vertical rhythms through and with SDPs to ensure timely response and track actions. Partner with the HDL to create a holistic delivery plan aimed at growth and capability build-up for the vertical. Lead development of vertical-specific solutions and evangelize solutions for the domain, techno-functional problem solver for the customer's hardest problems, and inspire talent to solve problems.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture senior-level customer connects. Ensure the SDPs within the vertical build and nurture strong relationships with key customers across different VBUs, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding and catering to unique requirements. Collaborate with the GBH to ensure industrialization, customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion of services. Responsible for creating strong value proposition for customers across the value chain.
    • Revenue and Growth: Collaborate closely with the GBH to identify revenue opportunities within the vertical.
    • Develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities, drive revenue growth, and achieve financial targets including Contribution margins (CM) . Provide leadership and vision to large deal (L3 & L4) campaigns. Lay out plans for solid growth and success of N40 accounts so as to create a robust pipeline of growth for the vertical.
    • Service Delivery Excellence: Oversee and optimize the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring the highest level of quality, efficiency, and timeliness. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices, and driving operational excellence across the vertical. Strive for Cross-utilization of people within Vertical across Delivery units (VBU/ VAU/ NBD). Ensure VBU rhythms such as VBU QRM meetings are followed so as to build healthy VBUs from process and people perspective. L1 to L3+ modernization.
    • Team Leadership: Inclusive transnational leader embracing teams across different countries and cultures. Lead a team of SDPs and extended enabler teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional development within the delivery organization. Inspire teams through strategic vision and ensure tools and IP are created to industrialize delivery capability and maximize strengths.
    • Contact: Work with internal leaders for alignment with business needs for vertical, Horizontal Support, Collaboration.

    Skills And Qualifications:

    • Domain and Company Brand Building: Strong Domain expert and Thought leader ; spokesperson for the organization and the vertical.
    • Financial (Revenue/Cost aspects): Achieve planned Revenue/ HC for Vertical. Achieve planned Contribution margin $, % for Vertical.Achieve Applied Ratio. BCR Customer: Achieve CSAT of X for customer/s. STRAP Say-Do Ratio.
    • Process: Pyramid Index management, Institutionalize Vertical/ VBU Rhythms Capability: Utilization/ deployment of talent, People Development (to support Business Needs). Building Next Gen leaders.
    • KPI: CSAT, Revenue Growth, CM, Esat, Timely Delivery, BCR, HCLM Tracker, Action Say-Do Tracker, Talent Utilization, PI, Employee Attrition.

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree – Engineering.

    Master's degree/MBA – preferred
