Candidates for this role will need to have a good understanding of Healthcare services, software, and solutions, a strong healthcare network, and experience selling SaaS into hospital and clinical environments.
This role will also be involved in further development and implementation of Go-to-Market strategies for Carta Healthcare in the US market.
This position will report directly into our VP of sales and will oversee regional territories in the continental United statesResponsibilities:
Develop, manage and drive business into sales funnel via email and cold-calling
Develop a strong pipeline of potential new business by selling additional services to named clients and potential new hospital facilities
Define and execute market plans and campaigns to generate business for Carta Healthcare
Plan sales strategy for target accounts (direct and indirect); prepare sales forecasts and related reports
Act as the principal liaison between Carta and the customer; develop and enhance business relationships by providing a high level of service and by encouraging contact with accounts at various organizational levels; develop and continually update account profiles.
Meet accounts on a regular basis to provide information on features and benefits of Carta healthcare' products and to displace competitorsConduct initial outreach to contribute to growing and accelerating funnel quickly (connections + cold outreach)
Work with customer success and implementation teams to demonstrate Carta's commitment as feedback arises
Utilize internal resources to achieve sales objectives
Represent Carta Healthcare at sales conferences to promote company products and services
Represent Carta healthcare at public presentations and panel discussions
Introduce Carta Healthcare products and build a pipeline of new activity within and outside of customer base
Assume additional responsibilities as required
What you'll need:
10+ years of related experience within the healthcare/IT/software industry and healthcare data
Ability to manage complex consultative sales requiring engagements with CIO, Head physicians and Head of Quality and C-suite
A network of contacts and connections with enterprise healthcare systems or hospitals
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members to drive successful business closes.
Ability to aggregate market feedback across prospect/customer engagement to work with Sales leadership to identify areas of opportunity (messaging resonance tweaks, objection handling, product roadmap prioritization, etc.)
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong problem identification and objective resolution skills
Demonstrated track record of sales overachievement
Using CRM to track and maintain documentation and activities
Strong technical aptitude is essential
Healthcare start-up experience is a plus
Education and training:
University degree or equivalent
