    Job Description:


    Looking for a California-based oncologist, an experienced industry physician leader (MD, MBBS), boarded in oncology (hybrid role, with some travel to corporate.) The company will relocate the right candidate.

    The position is Medical Director/Sr Medical Director Clinical Development Oncology. This is with an established commercially successful 20 year old California-based company. They are a growing public biopharmaceutical company (NASDAQ) of ~500 employees. The company is engaged in discovering, developing, and commercializing hematology/oncology drugs, as well as assets targeting other therapeutic landscapes. They are commercially successful, with a good pipeline in solid tumor under development, and two anticipated launches coming soon. To prepare for launch they are building an entire oncology business unit.

    To continue asset development they need Clinical Development oncology experience for the pipeline with several assets in development stage Phases I, II, and III.


    Currently, they need a solid industry oncologist with strategic leadership experience to direct and oversee the design and implementation of clinical projects and lead the Clinical Sub-Team, Phase II and Phase III design and execution.

    The position requires good oncology clinical development execution experience, including some protocol design strategy and U.S. regulatory filing preparations. There will some Medical Monitoring as a component. MUST BE AN MD. MUST BE BOARDED IN ONCOLOGY with ONCOLOGY EARLY (Phase II) and LATE PHASE (Phase III) DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE.
