We are seeking a_ Research Specialist.
_
Our laboratory studies the biochemical and adaptive signaling responses to small molecule inhibition of RAF and MEK kinases with a specific focus on pediatric solid tumors.Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs experiments using cell culture, animal, and molecular biology techniques.
- Participates in developing experimental designs, plans/implements experiments, and evaluates and interprets results.
- Conducts literature research, and participates in editing and preparing manuscripts, scientific illustrations, and computer graphics for publication.
- Trains new employees and supervises them in the performance of their duties.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
- One year laboratory experience performing relevant techniques.
- Master's degree, with related graduate research, may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
