- Become proficient in the use of CAD and BIM applications
- Work on projects under the direction of a licensed Engineer
- Prepare calculations, reports and design drawings
- Perform research related to project design
- Participate in field investigations
- Perform routine design tasks, make quantity take-offs, and help prepare estimates
