Description

The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering firms in Germany.

Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.

We are currently looking for a Junior Civil Engineer as a Construction Supervisor for Railway Superstructure/Structural Engineering (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our locations in Augsburg, Buchloe, Donauwörth, Ingolstadt, or Kempten (Allgäu) at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks:

  • You will realize construction projects and measures for the superstructure/structural engineering in maintenance together with internal and external partners for example, rail replacements, major component replacements, grinding or tamping work.
  • The safe and smooth operation of the railway under the guiding principle of "building under the rolling wheel" is of the highest priority to you that's why you not only monitor costs, deadlines, and quality, but also the compliance with safety regulations.
  • You are also responsible for safety supervision.
  • You are responsible for the onsite instruction of contractors and construction participants.
  • You create and update documentation/construction diaries during project realization (technical and operational).

Your profile:

  • The basis of your career
