    Duties:
    Job Summary


    Client is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team to help develop our next generation In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) product suite.

    This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, and technologically savvy. The candidate must be proficient in UI and application software development.

    This position requires the candidate to be responsible for the complete life cycle of new or modified software products including implementation, training, and support.

    The candidate will need to be able to work autonomously with minimal oversight as well as support interactions with other departments by interacting independently with product owners and stakeholders to solidify understanding of requirements and deliver products on-time.

    To be successful, the candidate will need to have solid experience within the AGILE/SCRUM software development methodology, object-oriented programming concepts, and full software development life cycles.

    The candidate should have sufficient technical skills to support design and architectural proposals and be able to work collaboratively with his/her team.

    This individual needs to be accountable for his/her commitment (both technically and behaviorally), be able to cooperate effectively, and be adaptive in working with different stakeholders.

    Key Responsibility


    Working closely with internal and external teams to understand the product & system requirements and implement solutions in collaboration with SW Arch.

    Create technical documentation for software features, and componentsMaintain code quality through code reviews, ensuring working, efficient, and testable codeDevelop unit tests & automated testing tools/scripting for validation of implementationThe individual will create elegant, intuitive user interfaces and applications.

    Development of software products by writing, testing, and documenting codeDesigning, building, installing, configuring and supporting production deploymentsImplement and maintain security and data privacy best practicesProvide support to individuals and other functional groups as needed


    Skills:
    Preferred Qualifications

    Familiar with Qt frameworkExperience with AndroidExperience with AWS and/or AzureExperience with graphics tools (Photoshop, GIMP, etc.)


    Education:
    Bachelor's Computer Science or Related
