We work with the research team and care from patients involved in many cardiac research studies. We receive patients from operating room, cardiac processing unit and cardiac intensive care unit.

We are a high energy, fast-paced unit that works with multiple disciplines to coordinate our overall care for each patient individually.

We care for many different surgical populations; therefore, we provide a great opportunity for new nurses to fine tune their skills and really be able to "pull it all together" from what they learned in school.

Your experiences as a new nurse or seasoned nurse will grow your knowledge, teach you time management and make you an expert on admissions and discharges and everything in between.

The foundations learned on Main 6 will set you up to be a successful nurse. We foster a team approach, shared governance, and offer multiple educational opportunities for career growth. We look forward to meeting you.
