    Job Overview
    We are seeking an experienced Security Agent to join our team. A successful candidate will go the extra mile and be an asset to the Security team.

    The person having this position must possess effective communication skills, have the ability to resolve conflict, great interpersonal skills, a keen sense of awareness, and have a thorough understanding of LINE policies, procedures and expectations.

    Because of the fluctuating demands of the companys operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities
    1. Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
    2. To safeguard the hotel, guest and associate's property from vandalism, theft, and any kind of crime
    3. To monitor and to control the movement of all associates, visitors, and contractors leaving or entering the hotel through the staff entrance
    4. To handle all tasks with diplomacy, tact, appropriate discretion and efficiency
    5. To ensure that unauthorized personnel do not gain access to the hotel floors and back of the house areas
    6. To ensure to check all current events, activities, and functions at the time of duty
    7. To have a thorough understanding of Fire, Life, Safety training on emergency response
    8. To uphold company standards and rules in efforts to keep the property safe
    9. Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
    10. Assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
    Core Competencies
    1. High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
    2. Two (2) years related experience in the hospitality industry preferred
    3. Strong communication skills
    4. Collaborative spirit
    5. Ethical Conduct
    6. Positive Attitude
    7. Eye for Detail
    8. Problem solving abilities
    9. Concierge-level customer service experience
    10. Access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring experience
    11. Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
    Knowledge, Requirements and Skills
    1. Must have active BSIS guard Card, or able to obtain by date of hire
    2. Minimum two (2) years of security or armed security experience; hotel experience preferred
    3. Enjoy working in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment
    4. Outgoing and people-orientated personality
    5. Effective interpersonal skills and a great team player
    6. Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
    7. Familiar with State and local safety regulations (i.e. OSHA), CPR/First Aid certified
    Working Conditions/Environment
    1. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
    2. Exposure to sensitive and confidential information
    3. Exposure to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area
    4. Rapid and effective decision-making during unusual or emergency situations
    5. Frequent standing and/ or walking for extended periods of time and may involve climbing stairs
    6. Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision
