Job Description
Job DescriptionNashua Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; a strong academic background is required. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and require ion campus instruction.
We have a need for instructors in our Automotive Technology Program for the Fall 2024 semester. The classes will be in the evenings and/or Saturdays. Applicants should have work experience in the following subjects: Shop safety, general service, basic automotive electricity, engine operation and theory. Strong organizational and diagnostic skills are desired.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should possess an Associate degree in Automotive Technology and have 5 years of experience as a technician. Should possess industry certifications such as Vehicle Manufacturer, ASE, and Aftermarket. Preference is given to those with higher education teaching experience, who have used a learning management system (such as Blackboard or Canvas), and who are engaged in community service.

The salary range for this position is $750-$900 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
