As an engineer on our growing ML team, you will play a key role in improving the customer experience of Amazon's product search engine. We develop ML approaches to enhance various components of the search experience and help customers find the products they need.

We are looking for a software engineer to assist us in deploying these models, integrating them into existing services, and optimizing their performance. This is a rewarding position where you can directly see the impact of your work on millions of Amazon customers worldwide.

Our team builds ML models trained on terabytes of product and traffic data, and you will be responsible for building scalable, robust, and maintainable pipelines for training, evaluating, and deploying these models. Our team is a mix of science and engineering, and each member contributes to both engineering excellence and scientific innovation.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new features for our search system's software components
  • Participate in designing and deploying robust and scalable pipelines for data processing, model training, and model inference
  • Build and configure metrics, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms for our deployed services and models

You will:

  • Work on a high-impact, high-visibility product, making a significant contribution to improving the experience of millions of customers
  • Design and build pipelines that enable state-of-the-art ML methods
