The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Cisco Network Technician to be a part the AEGIS Test Team in Bath, ME overseeing the installation and conducting testing of the AN/SQQ-89A(V) Sonar Suite.
This is working with dynamic schedules and coordinating with other members of the test team and ship's force. This position will encompass all stages of production and post sail away support.Act as liaison during software installation.
Demonstrated expertise in IT Enterprise Operations and Network Operations
Understanding and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications required.
Advanced network troubleshooting skills
Proven experience with Cisco or Juniper network systems.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
Proficient in network security practices and protocols.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Experience in software installation and upgrades, as well as LAN installation and maintenance required.
Knowledge of Linux Server Operating systems required.
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance upon hire.
DoD Secret Clearance
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Proficiency in MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Proven experience effectively communicating with senior US government representatives.
CISCO Networking or Red Hat Linux certification.
Ability to independently research, assess and present analyses of technical/logistics data and recommended options for government decision.
