    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive improved NPD results at sites / companies by leveraging DBS tools, consulting skills, and change management process. Key tools include DBS Fundamentals tools, Visual Project Management (VPM), Product Planning Group (PPG), Speed Design Review (SDR), Technology Development Process (TDP), Design for Reliability. and others.
    • Assist sites / companies in the development of DBS roadmaps leveraging the Innovation KPIs and Innovation Playbook.
    • Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching at all levels. Coach leaders to address change management barriers.
    • Promote and facilitate associate development in Innovation DBS tools. Evaluate and approve DBSL's, CP candidates, and ACP candidates for tool certification.
    • Help create and leverage a community of Innovation process professionals throughout Danaher to drive awareness and interest in Innovation DBS Tools within platform/OpCo.
    • Leverage OpCo Innovation KPIs to guide support and improvement initiatives at the Operating Companies.
    • Manage one or more priority initiatives in support of DBSO Strat. This may include development of a DBS tool, supporting tool, training program, community or networking activity, or deployment support on an existing initiative.
    • Contribute to evolution of Innovation DBS tools. Benchmark and incorporate best practices.
    • Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in DBS tools.

    Education and/or Experience

    B.S. in Engineering or Sciences required; MBA and/or advanced Engineering degree desired. 10+ years experience in engineering and engineering management/leadership Leadership of product development programs and teams. Strong knowledge of project management and how to drive on time delivery. 4+ years at Danaher with a passion for DBS and experience in applying DBS/Lean principles to product development Experience as a practitioner with DBS tools VPM or PPG required. Experience with Design for Reliability and SDR highly desired. Strong Executive Presence: Ability to present highly complex, technical, or difficult messages clearly and persuasively at all levels of the organization. Experience influencing others and developing capabilities in others/teams (teaching and training)
