    Description

    Overview:

    Wholesales ePlan services other white label products to financial advisors across the country to generate 401(k) plan sales. They use inside sales techniques wholesaling, partnering and closing skills to generate proposal opportunities and assist advisors on closing and establishing plans.

    Responsibilities:
    • Achieves corporate objectives in ePlan sales to meet/exceed revenue attainment, plans sales and performance standards.
    • Prospects, cultivates, builds, and manages relationships with Financial Advisors in assigned territory to extracts and secure proposals using telemarketing, Email, and conferences.
    • Provides consultative plan design and product selection in accordance with plan needs to sell the advisors the best solution that will meet their needs.
    • Enters prospects, sales and client notes into in timely and accurate manner to ensure seamless selling and service to Paychex clients.
    • May serve as a mentor for the purpose of improving performance of other representatives and associates. May participate in conducting training sessions and exercises to empower and develop non-senior representatives. Brings any issues to the attention of the DSM and/or Zone Manager.
    • Projects a positive image in representing the Corporation to uphold Paychex reputation to clients, advisors and the community.
    • Identifies and communicates industry trends and product gaps to sales management.
    • Achieves and continually develops technical, competitive and sales skills knowledge to ensure excellence in lead generation, presentations and closing skills.
    • Expedites the resolution of client problems or complaints to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
    • Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position's functions.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing - Preferred
    • Experience working with
    • 3 years of experience in Sales or marketing.
    • 3 years of experience in successful selling of 401(k) plans.
    • Currently has applicable current/active FINRA securities licenses OR passing FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 6, and Series 63 exams within 120 days from start date and receiving subsequent approval by FINRA and all states
    Compensation:
    In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay for this position is $61,000 annually + commission. Please keep in mind that this is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
