    Summary



    About the Position: This position is located at Kimbrough Dir of Clinical Support; Dept of Preventive Medicine, Occupational Health Clinic # 5.

    This is a Direct Hire Solicitation



    Duties

    • Develop, coordinate, update, and implement health education on an individual or group basis through counseling, lectures/group dynamics, to include teaching and ensuring safe working practices and providing guidance in promoting preventive medicine.
    • Assist with evaluation, management, and development of occupational health program nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
    • Conduct medical surveillance programs, physical examinations and physical assessment health screening and ensure the provision of care for occupational injuries/illnesses and incidents of potential hazard exposure.
    • Interpret, record, and summarize occupational health program statistics/medical records.
    • Participate in field investigations and epidemiological studies as the nurse member of the preventive medicine team.
