- Administer anesthetic agents and supportive treatments to patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures.
- Review planned anesthesia with the patient.
- Recognize and correct potential complications related to the anesthetic care delivered
- Manage patient's anesthetic care throughout surgery.
- Manage the maintenance of anesthesia using appropriate anesthetic and adjunctive agents.
- Administer anesthesia by general, regional, and local techniques.
- Provide pertinent patient information concerning patient recovery to recovery room staff.
- Review anesthesia records.
- Provide clinical instruction and evaluation to assigned anesthesia nursing students, interns, residents, and other clinical skills.
