- The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading plant operations in meeting objectives as identified by the Parker Hannifin Corporate's WIN Strategy.
- The Plant Manager will implement the Parker Lean system and strategy to ensure a safe work environment, maximize profitable growth, drive quality improvements, provide premier customer service, develop a technically qualified workforce, and reduce operating costs, inventories, and lead times through continuous improvements.
- Oversee day-to-day activities to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual expectations.
- The Plant Manager maintains good standing in the community and protects the reputation of the Corporation.
- Serves as the representative in local government matters related to the Plant and the Company.
- The Plant Manager will be accountable for Plant operations to achieve results identified by the Parker Hannifin Corporation's Win Strategy.
- The Plant Manager will lead the Naples Team of empowered employees to continuously achieve and exceed customer expectations.
- Broad responsibility and leadership for overall Plant operations.
- The Plant Manager will oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly expectations.
- To profitably grow the business unit consistently and annually. Works with current and potential customers to promote and leverage company technologies, systems, products and services.
- Establishes and maintains premier customer service. Leads by example.
- Leads strategy deployment for the business unit concentrating on lean initiatives, strategic pricing and strategic procurement. Leads Operating, Manufacturing, Engineering, Information Technology, Human Resources, Lean Accounting, Planning, Sales/Marketing and New Product Development functions to ensure operational efficiency and economy.
- Accountable for driving lean initiatives, strategic procurement and strategic pricing initiatives throughout the operation to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented.
- Develops a budget plan and manages the business unit within budget constraints.
- Maintains familiarity with competitive environment within geographical area of responsibility.
- Represents the operation at the business unit and division levels.
- Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.
- Ensures that the business unit conform to local, state and federal government regulations. Promotes business unit within industry, manufacturing, trade associations and local community.
- Required bachelor's degree | Master's or MBA degree is desired.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment and/or Aerospace
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem-solving/resolution skills and a team focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to Management, customers, and employees.
- Practical experience in implementing lean technologies and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Six Sigma preferred.
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore, a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § is required. U.S. Citizenship/Permanent Resident is required for most positions.
