    Description

    Support Engineer Position at Vital Link

    Vital Link is expanding and on the lookout for a Support Engineer to join their team. The company specializes in manufacturing Turbine Testing facilities and is particularly interested in candidates with a background in the armed forces.     • Summary: Research electrical, electronic, and mechanical design challenges in existing company products and build-to-print projects.
    • Duties: Maintain current electrical and mechanical designs of equipment, components, and systems for various purposes. Conduct some redesign work to replace outdated components.
    • Determine testing methods and conditions for redesigned products and build-to-print projects.
    • Collaborate with Bills Of Material (BOM) for the integration of new products into the manufacturing system. Update existing BOM(s) to align with design changes as needed.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Background in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Previous experience in the Aerospace Industry or similar sectors.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
    • Mechanically skilled.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
    • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
