We, HEINRICH, WOLLERING & PARTNER (HWP), are a tax and law firm with a focus on tax consulting and business consulting as well as legal consulting. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated employee as a Human Resources Manager (m/f/d) in full-time for our client, a medium-sized company in the retail and gastronomy industry located in Hamburg.


Your responsibilities for our client include:

  • You will be the first point of contact for executives and employees. You will receive strong support from your personal assistant.
  • You will coordinate the applicant management process (confirming receipt of applications, sending rejections, scheduling appointments, etc.)
  • Conducting job interviews and documenting contractrelevant points discussed with store managers or the management team
  • Your main focus will be on employee retention/motivation and personnel recruitment (recruiting)
  • Managing and controlling personnel costs using the HR system gastromatic and in collaboration with the tax office
  • Organizing work schedules this includes providing assistance for shortterm staff absences and missing shifts
  • Working with the management team to develop the company culture
  • Conducting regular employee meetings and supporting store managers in their leadership role
  • Communicating strategic personnel decisions throughout the company and implementing them
  • Expanding personnel development measures (e.g. employee training)
  • Holding a weekly meeting with your personal assistant and the management team
  • Preparing tasks for payroll accounting
  • Taking on additional projects
