Your responsibilities:


  • Review monthly project R&D direct costs, direct personnel costs, indirect personnel costs, and indirect other costs. Verify monthly project timesheets. Transfer project costs on a monthly and yearly basis to ensure compliance with project control requirements.
  • Manage fixed assets, including financial bookings for increases, monthly depreciation, transfers, disposals, and physical counts.
  • Handle monthly and yearly accruals.
  • Provide support for accounting and controlling as needed.
  • Monitor the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
  • Establish accounting policies and procedures that align with the company's goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Your qualifications:


  • At least 2 years of experience as an accountant in finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP or HFM.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas).
  • Thorough understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills for managing large amounts of data.
  • Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus.
  • Good command of English, German language skills are a bonus.
