The Director IT Business Relationship Management is accountable for the intake process and the high-level requirements gathering, current/future state processing, planning and execution of business initiatives through the use of technology.

This role will be the primary interface between business functional leaders and the IT teams. This is accomplished through a combination of thought leadership, creating trusted business relationships, industry expertise and strong communications skills.

The goal of the Director IT Business Relationship Management is to maximize investments in IT to drive the highest business value and create a competitive advantage for Uponor to win in the marketplace.

What will you do?-Manages and mentors BRM team to build and manage strategic relationships with business partners.-Partners with business leadership, and other key stakeholders, to define opportunities, and identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (e.g., return on investment, productivity, compliance).-Accountable for overall IT governance process (IT Steering Committee, Demand Management)-Participates in development of business strategic planning and IT strategic planning.-Communicates decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit strategies, requests, projects and initiatives.-Measures, communicates, and recommends improvements to service and satisfaction levels of IT.-Provides strategic consulting level support and guidance for the business to leverage new or emerging technologies; while looking for global alignment opportunities.

Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred, in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field.
15+ years of combined experience in Information Technology and Business.
10+ years of project management experience
5+ years of leadership experience including working with business stakeholders and senior leaders, specifically advising on and delivering IT solutions.
Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, and influence appropriate courses of action.
Strong process management, negotiating, and influencing skills.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy-to-understand business terms.
