- Working with groups of students independently;
- Preparing the tutoring area;
- Transporting students to and from designated areas;
- Taking attendance and managing lessons through HeyTutor Dashboard;
- Tracking student progress using HeyTutor Dashboard;
- Facilitating assessments as needed;
- Leading tutoring sessions using provided curriculum;
- Creating an engaging learning environment;
- Supporting positive student behavior;
- Participating in tutoring lessons;
- Clocking in and out of Deputy daily;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Spanish Bilingual Preferred but not mandatory
- Some college credits completed
- Prior tutoring experience
- Comfortable in a classroom setting
- Skilled in tutoring math at elementary and high school levels
- Clear FBI-DOJ background check (arranged by us)

Description
JOB INFORMATION:HeyTutor has partnered with a school district in Bridgeport and is seeking tutors to assist students in grades k-12 with Math and ELA during regular school hours. Tutors will work with elementary, middle school, or high school students to help them bridge learning gaps developed over the past school year.
To be considered, candidates must be comfortable passing an IN-PERSON background check. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about education, seeking consistent tutoring hours, or wanting to support students in their community.
JOB DUTIES:
Availability required from 7:50 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday
REQUIREMENTS:
$21-26 per hour
Compensation based on education and experience, finalized during the interview process
