    Employment Litigaiton Associate Attorney - Los Angeles, CA

    Renowned mid-sized law firm is in search of accomplished associates with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join its dynamic Employment Law team on the defense side in Los Angeles. We are seeking applicants with a background in employment litigation, outstanding academic credentials, a comprehensive understanding of State and Federal fair employment laws, wage-hour laws, FMLA, and related legislation. Coming to work with a solid work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork will be critical factors for success in this position. The firm offers interesting cases, complex legal issues, great clients, and many opportunities for professional growth and development. This is an outstanding opportunity for a lawyer wanting to take the next step forward in their career and join an established and successful employment law team This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days in the office.

    • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
    • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
    • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
    • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
    • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
    • Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an employment litigator.
    • Strong academic background and excellent credentials.
    • Ability to take on significant responsibilities with minimal detailed guidance.
    • Solid work ethic and a passion for advocacy.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Team player with a passion for advocacy.
