    Volunteer & Donations Assistant - Interfaith-RISE - Reformed Church of Highland Park Affordable Housing Corporation

    Job Description

    The Assistant is responsible for assisting with the overall success of the volunteer and donations program of Interfaith RISE, a program of RCHP-AHC. This position reports to the Volunteer & Donations Director and is located in Highland Park, NJ.

    Responsibilities

    · Collaborate with I-RISE program teams to match volunteers with clients and other program needs, including transportation, housing, and other periodic needs.

    · Support the process to acquire, manage and distribute donations, and assisting to manage volunteer engagement

    · Assist with new client arrival set-ups in coordination with case managers, housing team and volunteers (drivers, donations, etc.)

    · Support V&D compliance with all reporting requirements.

    · Compiling new volunteer information.

    · Facilitating background checks.

    · Timely maintenance of data management system to compile volunteer hours and donations information.

    · Other relevant tasks as assigned.

    Education & Experience

    · Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.

    · Working knowledge of government-funded and/or online reporting systems preferred.

    · Experience creating and/or implementing trainings.

    Qualifications

    · Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

    · Ability to quickly and collaboratively problem-solve.

    · Knowledge of MS Office or similar.

    · Excellent time management and organizational skills.

    · Ability to work with a variety of staff and clients from a variety of backgrounds.

    Compensation

    This position is compensated at a rate of $18.50/Hour.
