    Imagine building a business from the ground up, with nothing more than 1 truck, 4000 feet of warehouse space, 2 Beer Brands and a lot of determination Simon Bergson, founder and owner of Manhattan Beer Distributors, has done exactly this, growing our business over the last 40 years to exponential heights. Manhattan Beer Distributors now has 1.5 million feet of warehouse space, the distribution rights to 300 brands, 400 trucks and services 15 counties. Our aim is to provide great service to all of our customers from the convenience store owner to our big chain operators, restaurants, bars and hotels.

    How Will You Contribute?

    Forklift Operators load, unload, move and rotate all Manhattan Beer Distributors products while safely operating and maintaining a powered industrial lift truck (forklift) or other material handling equipment.

    Skillfully operate forklift in warehouse environment to rotate and stack product

    Maintain all personal safety equipment

    Adhere to all company policies and procedures concerning safety in the work place

    Help maintain the physical condition of the warehouse with a real sense of urgency, planning and implementing; inspecting equipment to optimize safety conditions

    Maintain an open line of communication with supervisors ensuring appropriate production levels are attained according to company standards

    Proficiently review processes and propose more efficient methods for completing assigned tasks

    Comfortably utilize warehouse technology including management systems software and hardware (training provided)

    Position Requirements:

    Work Schedule - Monday - Friday, 9:30am start time

    Forklift certified (on-site training available)

    Technologically Savvy

    Capable of lifting 50 lbs to shoulder height

    Capable of lifting 165 lb barrel off the floor

    Must be 21 years of age

    Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent

    Hourly Salary: $16.00-$18.00
