Description
JOB PURPOSE
Transports materials throughout the plant by using a powered lift truck.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
DAILY
- Transport skids and materials in plant based on machines needs or schedule.
- Stages jobs as needed.
- Changes battery as needed.
- Operates the lift truck in safe manner.
- Assures that the lift truck is in good running condition.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Forklift Truck Operator certification
- Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment
- Shipping/Receiving experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Good reading comprehension
- Basic math skills including calculation of decimals/fractions
- Must be able to use a ruler and a calculator
- High degree of initiative and attention to detail needed
- Mechanical skills
- Machine operating experience
- Basic computer skills
- Selfdiscipline and selfmotivation
Referral Bonus:

From $17.00 per hour
