    Specialized Recruiting Group

    is seeking a

    Civil PE

    to co-lead a Land Development team alongside a PLA, while contributing to the success of projects and designs.

    This is a direct hire position (no contracting required) with a negotiable salary and great benefits.

    We're looking for a motivated engineer who possesses creative and innovative design skills and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

    Projects worked on will include all site development aspects of residential, commercial, mixed-use, office, municipal, institutional, and industrial development throughout the southeast.

    Experience and familiarity with various municipal site plan approval processes is strongly desired.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead a small team of designers and junior engineers.
    Oversee the design of Land Development projects.
    Promote, establish, and assure quality on all projects and work performed by your team.
    Monitor and manage project tasks and schedules to ensure projects are completed on budget and schedule.
    Perform technical reviews of project documents.
    Manage the production of technical calculations, conceptual and detailed design drawings for site plan, construction drawing, and permitting packages.
    Manage research and preparation of engineering reports for stormwater management, storm drainage, and erosion control.
    Manage the preparation of local, state, and federal permit applications to support projects.
    Focus on quality and ensure the QA/QC process is followed.


    Desired Qualifications:
    Bachelors' Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required.
    A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as a project engineer or engineering intern.
    A valid NC Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
    AutoCAD Civil3D proficiency is required.
    Proficiency in Bluebeam REVU desired.
    Able to work independently and manage/schedule a team.
