- Develop vision needed to lead and oversee maintenance support to factory operational equipment, as well as general facility maintenance.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of the Maintenance Department to maintain equipment at the highest practical level through continuous improvement of the maintenance systems, as well as leadership within the facility's continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrates good hands-on skill to lead or assist with reactive maintenance activities, to identify root cause for the issue, and work to eliminate re-occurring problems
- Effective at asking questions of the maintenance team, and teaching them to effectively troubleshoot and make good decisions
- Work with team members to develop the most cost-effective repair strategies and manage maintenance spending responsibilities to achieve factory maintenance budget.
- Establish departmental goals and objectives to maintain a low cost and high efficient operation.
- Develop and implement innovative technical ideas and solutions for improved production efficiencies to reduce operating cost.
- Complete planning and budgeting for maintenance activities including extraordinary maintenance as well as annual budget for labor, repair materials, and outside contractors.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in production, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, military or related environment
- 3+ years of people leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and supervision skills to motivate and engage production teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using production management software (i.e. MaintainX) and other relevant tools.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present reports, and provide feedback.
- Demonstrate good skill at using Microsoft products like Excel and Outlook.
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Forklift Certified
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

As a Maintenance Manager, this will be a hands-on role of managing, leading, and coordinating activities for your team to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and endorse safety and operating standards.
You will be responsible for coaching, training, and developing your team members while maintaining daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance, and repair work.
You will also foster a safe work environment, ensuring all quality and environmental standards are met, and be responsible for the proper management of the day-to-day maintenance issues.
