- Develop a vision to lead and oversee maintenance support for factory operational equipment and general facility maintenance.
- Direct and coordinate Maintenance Department activities to maintain equipment at optimal levels through continuous improvement.
- Lead or assist with reactive maintenance activities, identify root causes, and work to prevent recurring problems.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop cost-effective repair strategies and manage maintenance spending responsibly.
- Establish departmental goals for cost-effective and efficient operations.
- Implement innovative technical solutions for improved production efficiencies.
- Plan and budget maintenance activities, including extraordinary maintenance and annual budgets.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in production, preferably in a supervisory role.
- 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, technical, military, or related fields.
- 3 years of leadership experience.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Leadership and supervision skills to motivate production teams.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities for addressing production issues.
- Proficiency in production management software and relevant tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in using Microsoft products like Excel and Outlook.
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Forklift certified.
- Capability to lift 50 pounds at times.

In this position, you will be hands-on, leading, and coordinating activities to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and ensure safety and operational standards in your team.
